In the Type in Motion Course centered around utilizing Adobe After Effects for motion design, the final project was to create a 60-second animation on sustainability promotion, so I chose to briefly cover reusability and the steps one can do to start living more environmentally-conscious.
I wanted to create something that was visually appealing and garnered enough attention to promote action from the viewer. Keeping the suggestions simple makes sustainable living habits seem less daunting for people.
Everything was designed and animated within Adobe After Effects, inspired by the styles of Motion Designer Ben Marriott. The process included a proposal, storyboard, and drafts leading up to the final animation.
I really enjoy the process of motion design when it comes to the micro-animations; making movement look more natural and adding the small motions that make a difference in the flow of the animation.
